Adenocarcinoma: A malignant tumour formed from glandular structures in epithelial tissueFistula: An abnormal or surgically made passage between a hollow or tubular organ and the body surface, or between two hollow or tubular organs
Brachytherapy: The treatment of cancer, by the insertion of radioactive implants directly into the tissue.
Simple hysterectomy: A surgical operation to remove all or part of the uterus. A simple hysterectomy involves removal of the uterus
Radical hysterectomy: The uterus is removed along with removal of lymph nodes in the pelvis
Dysplasia: The presence of cells of an abnormal type within a tissue, which may signify a stage preceding the development of cancer.
