Symptoms of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
The symptoms may not be evident during the early stage of the disease. They begin to surface as the disease progresses.
Most of the symptoms of CLL resemble those of other
- Persistent weakness
- Breathlessness (sometimes)
- Recurrent infections
- Night sweats
- Weight Loss (in some)
- Pallor
- Tendency to bleed – e.g. from gums
On Examination the following maybe observed -
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Enlarged spleen
- Enlarged liver
- Anemia
- Abnormal bruising and bleeding
