Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI): These are antidepressant drugs that are generally safe to use. They block the uptake of serotonin, a brain chemical or neurotransmitter, and thus improves the mood of the brain.Opiate antagonists: These are drugs that target the opiate receptors (proteins that recognize the body’s natural opioid compounds) found in the body.
Anorexia: This is an eating condition, where the individual tries to remain thin and avoids putting on weight by not eating or by over exercising or by vomiting or by using laxatives.
Bulimia: This is an eating condition, where the individual goes on an eating binge and follows it up by vomiting it out.
