Encephalitis: An inflammation of the brain caused by direct viral infection or hyper-sensitivity reaction to virus or foreign protein.Endemic: Native to certain regions or limited to certain regions.
Hemorrhage: Excessive discharge of blood from blood vessels.
Seizure: Sudden disturbance of the brain's normal electrical activity that is supplemented by altered and/or other neurological and behavioral manifestations, e.g. epilepsy.
Symptomatic: Showing symptoms, or specific symptoms. Symptoms are signs of any disease or injury. Symptoms are experienced by patients.
Transmission: Passing of communicable disease from an infected person or group to conspecific person or group, irrespective whether the other person was affected earlier.
Zoonotic: If an infected animal is a carrier, infection to humans passes through contact with the animal.
