Prophylaxis: It is a measure taken to prevent the disease.Anemia: Decrease in the amount of erthrocytes (Red blood cells) and hemoglobin in the blood.
Cerebral Malaria: An infection of the cerebrum by protozoan parasite plasmodium falciparum.
Sporozoites: They are minute immature forms of sporozoans.
Merozoites: They are a form of malaria parasites that attack the erythrocytes (RBCs).
Vesicles: They are like cyst or sac and are 'exosome like.'
Gametocytes: The sexual stage of the malarial parasites that grow into gametes.
Ookinetes: The motile zygote of the malarial parasite that penetrates into stomach of the mosquito to form an oocyst under outer lining of the gut.
Oocyst: A cyst or a thick walled encapsulated structure that contains ookinete.
