Glossary

Nausea: Vomiting sensation.

Vestibular System: It is the sensory mechanism in the inner ear that detects movement of the head and helps to control balance.

Migraine: A severe headache, usually accompanied by vision problems and nausea and vomiting, that typically recurs.

Inner Ear: It is the part of the ear that contains both the organ of hearing (the cochlea) and the organ of balance (the labyrinth).

Dehydration: The condition of excessive loss of fluids from the body, frequently caused by diarrhea.
