Autosomal Dominant: A genetic condition where a disease can be inherited by receiving the abnormal gene from only one parent.Cancer Antigen 125 (CA-125): A protein that acts as a biomarker for ovarian cancer.
Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA): A tumor marker, especially for cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.
Endometrium: Mucus membrane lining the uterus.
Hepatobiliary: Pertaining to the liver and bile duct.
Keratoacanthoma: Skin tumor occurring on sun-exposed areas.
Lynch Syndrome: Also known as hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC), it is an autosomal dominant genetic condition that exhibits a high risk of various types cancers, especially colon cancer.
Metastasis: Spread of cancer in the body resulting in development of secondary malignant growths at a distance from the primary site of cancer.
Neoplasm: A new and abnormal growth of tissue in a part of the body, especially as a characteristic of cancer.
