Pulmonary stenosis: Obstruction of the flow of blood from the heart to the lungs.Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: Overgrowth of heart muscle that may impede blood flow into and out of the heart.
Growth hormone (GH): A substance secreted by the pituitary gland that stimulates the growth of bones and soft tissue in children and regulates metabolism in adults.
Mutation: A permanent change in DNA sequence. Mutations may be caused by mistakes during cell division, or they may be caused by exposure to DNA-damaging agents in the environment. Mutations can be harmful, beneficial, or have no effect.
