Seizures- ConvulsionsRespiratory dyskinesias- Difficulty in performing respiratory movements.
Arrhythmias- Abnormal heart rhythms.
Gastro esophageal reflux- Food or liquid regurgitating from the stomach into the food pipe.
Non - Rapid Eye Movement (Non REM, NREM) Sleep - A type of sleep that is divided into four stages. Usually about 75% of the night is spent in NREM Sleep.
Rapid Eye Movement (REM) Sleep - A type of sleep during which the body is paralyzed and the eyes move. Dreaming occurs during this sleep.
Sleep deprivation- Lack of sleep
Dementia- Progressive loss of intellectual functions.
Subarachnoid hemorrhage- Leakage of blood into the space surrounding the brain
Sleep apnea- Condition in which breathing stops temporarily while sleeping.
Ischemic cerebrovascular disease- Brain dysfunction due to reduced blood supply
Olivopontocerebellar degeneration- A degenerative brain disease
Multiple sclerosis- A disease of the central nervous system
Brain stem neoplasms- Tumor of the brain stem.
