Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - A disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event.Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome or POTS - An autonomic nervous system (ANS) disorder that affects blood circulation.
Ventilator-associated pneumonia - A lung infection that develops in a person who is on a ventilator.
Hospital-acquired pneumonia - An infection of the lungs that occurs during a hospital stay.
Secondary infections - An infection that occurs during or after treatment for another infection.
