Ectopic Pregnancy - pregnancy that exists outside the uterus, in the tube or ovary
Placenta Previa - placenta that lies in the lower portion of the uterus, covering the mouth of the uterus
Abruptio Placentae - premature separation of the placenta from its attachment to the uterine bed
Cervical Incompetence - Opening up of the passage of mouth of the uterus or the cervix leading to possibility of abortion or premature delivery
Pre-eclamptic Toxemia - occurrence of high blood pressure, swelling of the feet and protein in the urine- Blood pressure returning to normal once baby is delivered
