Biofeedback: Biofeedback is a technique used to increase awareness, monitoring and control over physiological signs in the body, employing electronic instruments.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on core beliefs that underlie maladaptive emotions and behaviors. It attempts to change these irrational beliefs and targets unhelpful behaviors to treat the issue. Pyromania: Pyromania is an impulse control disorder that involves repeated fire setting characterized by tension before the act, and pleasure or relief after it. It also involves fascination with fire. The individual is not motivated by monetary or revenge related factors.
Substance Use Disorder: Substance use disorder, commonly known as addiction, involves the use of substances such as alcohol, tobacco or drugs, in which there is a difficulty controlling intake, and prolonged use, irrespective of impairment and harmful effects.
