Autism: Also called autism spectrum disorder (ASD), it is a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact.Bruxism: Involuntary habitual grinding of the teeth, usually while sleeping.
Chorea: A nervous disorder characterized by jerky involuntary movements affecting especially the shoulders, hips, and face.
Dyskinesia: Abnormality or impairment of voluntary movement.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD): Excessive thoughts (obsessions) that lead to repetitive behaviors (compulsions).
Tic Disorder: A disorder characterized by motor symptoms such as twitching of the eyelids or face, or vocal symptoms such as involuntary repetitive sounds, such as grunting, sniffing, or throat clearing.
Tourette’s Syndrome: Also called simply as Tourette’s, it is a nervous system disorder involving repetitive movements or unwanted sounds.
Trichotillomania: Also called TTM, it is a disorder that involves recurrent, irresistible urges to pull out body hair.
