Bacteriuria: Presence of bacteria in the urine

Hematuria: Presence of blood in the urine

Cystitis: Infection of the urinary bladder

Pyelonephritis: Infection of the kidney

Midstream urine: While giving an urine sample for culture the initial portion is passed and the midstream sample is collected in the culture bottle
