Third Trimester - Laboratory Investigations

Laboratory investigations

The followings investigations will be done once during this trimester, preferably in the first visit.

Blood investigations include: 

• Blood sugar (indicates diabetes)
• Hemoglobin (indicates anemia)

Urine investigations 

• Urine albumin 
• Urine sugar (indicates diabetes) 
• Any pus cells (indicates infection)
