The Biological Clock

The Biological Clock

In today’s modern society where everybody is busy climbing up the corporate ladder, people try to delay the pregnancy for a long time. Age related infertility is on the rise. Women wait till they are thirty or more to think about starting their families. They don’t realize that fertility starts declining in their late twenties and early thirties.

From a purely gynecological point of view 20s is the prime time for getting pregnant and the best is by the time the woman is twenty eight, then the chances of conceiving are faster. The irregular menstrual cycle that you used to have during your teenage days becomes normal by this time so ovulation is more predictable. The eggs that a woman is born with are fresh and hence fertility is high and chances of having a comfortable pregnancy is more.
