Chronic disease: a long lasting health problemKidney disease: any one of several chronic conditions that are caused by damage to the cells of the kidney. People who have had diabetes for a long time may have kidney damage. Also called nephropathy.
Cancer: a term for diseases in which abnormal cells divide without control. Cancer cells can invade nearby tissues and can spread through the bloodstream and lymphatic system to other parts of the body.
AIDS: an infection due to HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) that severely damages the immune system.
Mood swings: rapid oscillation of person's mood.
Diabetes: a condition in which the body cannot properly store or use glucose (sugar), the body's main source of energy.
