Comfortable Shoes for Walking

Comfortable Shoes for Walking

All that a walker needs to invest in is a good pair of sports shoes, especially with double padded soles to cushion the impact of feet jarring on gravel. This is very important especially if you plan to walk long distance or if you have a chronic knee problem.

You should also wear loose fitting cotton clothes that will give your skin enough space to breathe. Some serious walkers also consider investing in a pedometer, an important device to count your footsteps. The pedometer can give you the push to set higher goals for walking and exercise. In fact if you have an I-phone you maybe able to download an application and this will work like a pedometer. Just Google for this and you will find it.

Walking with a friend or a relative can help relieve you from boredom of your routine. If you exercise indoors on a treadmill, add music or liven up your workout. Preferably keep your mobile phone in switched off mode as its engagement may slow down your walk. Although it might take a little longer to see the actual results, every step will help you get into the shape you desire.
