Testis: The paired male gonads located in the scrotum in the maleOrchidectomy: Surgical removal of one or both testes
Spermatic cord: A cord-like structure that suspends the testis. It is found bilaterally and contains the blood vessels and nerves that supply the testes
Prosthesis: An artificial substitute for a body part used either for cosmetic or functional reasons
Testosterone: Male sex hormone responsible for sexual drive and other masculine physical characteristics
Estrogen: Female sex hormone responsible for feminine physical characteristics
