Sinusitis: Sinusitis is inflammation of the lining membrane of any of the hollow areas (sinuses) of the bone of the skull around the nose. The sinuses are directly connected to the nasal cavities.Infection: Invasion of the body by agents (bacteria, viruses or fungi) that cause disease or tissue damage.
Inflammation: A response of redness, swelling, pain, and a feeling of heat in certain areas which is meant to protect tissues affected by injury or disease.
Endoscopic surgery: A technique which uses a viewing instrument, endoscope that allows a surgeon to see images of the body’s internal structures through very small incisions.
