Palliative: Giving relief but not curativeHospice: Place of care for a person in the last stages of their life
Remission: Diminution or abatement of the symptoms of a disease
Dementia: Loss of mental ability severe enough to interfere with normal activities of daily living, lasting more than six months, not present since birth, and not associated with a loss or alteration of consciousness
Multidisciplinary: Collective health care, involving health care providers from more than one discipline
