Steps:

  1. Stand erect by keeping your feet slightly apart.
  2. As you inhale, stretch your hands out.
  3. Bend the left knee and touch the left foot with the left arm, while raising the right arm up over the head.
  4. Exhale and come back to the original position.
  5. Repeat the asana with the right knee.
