About- Endoscopic procedure undertaken by a Urologist for removal of small bladder stones.
Procedure – Once the stone is identified by a cystoscope it is crushed with an instrument called lithotrite, and broken into smaller pieces. Later it is flushed out of the bladder.
Complication – Bladder perforation if bladder wall gets entrapped while engaging the instrument.
