Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug prescribed to reduce the pain and inflammation of the joints and muscles, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, tooth pain, migraines, menstrual pain and gout. Drinking alcohol while taking diclofenac is not advised because of the increased risk of stomach bleeding.
