Pantoprazole is prescribed to treat gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer, helicobacter pylori infection, barrett’s esophagus, erosive esophagitis, and zollinger-ellison syndrome. Pantoprazole tablets are also prescribed to prevent stress-induced ulcers. Long-term users of pantoprazole should eat foods rich in magnesium.
