About - It is an endoscopic procedure performed to remove the bladder lesion for further analysis of its nature by histopathology.
Procedure - Usually performed under General anesthesia. Entire protruding(papillary/ solid) components of the lesion are removed and deeper tissue also taken for biopsy to confirm complete removal. Random biopsies of other areas will be required as per clinical indications.
Complications - Infection, Bleeding, Bladder perforation, Clot retention
