About - Stone in ureter, which is bigger in size cannot be removed directly, so the lithoclast is used to fragment the stone inside the ureter itself.
Procedure - First telescopic inspection of the ureter done to visualise the stone. Then visualised stone is broken with lithoclast which is a machine which breaks the stone by air pressure without damaging the inner lining of the tube(ureter).
