A sneeze is a forceful expulsion of air from lungs through the nose and mouth, usually a reaction to foreign bodies irritating the mucous lining of the nose. It is a semi-autonomous reaction; that is, partially controlled by nervous system, partially reflex reaction. The sneeze can occur due to infection of the mucous lining of the nose or allergies.
