Dr. Sandhya Suresh's Profile

Dr Sandhya Suresh started her academic journey in Madras Medical College where she completed her MBBS in 2012 and then went on to complete her post-graduation MD in General Medicine from Christian Medical College, Vellore. Her interest in Nephrology took her to Gujarat where she finished her view more..superspecialty training in Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital, Nadiad. As an Assistant Professor in the department of Nephrology in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, she is enthusiastic about increasing interest in nephrology not only among medical students and post-graduates, but also among the general public. She has presented in several nephrology conferences and was also the recipient of the young nephrologists award for best clinical science abstract at the World Congress of Nephrology in 2021. She has a keen interest in research and is part of several projects at her center. As a part of the Glomcon fellowship, NSMC (Nephrology Social Media Collective) internship and Women in Nephrology-India organisation, she is invested in promoting and diversifying Nephrology education.
