Storyline : Young, optimistic psychiatrist Dr. Donovan MacLeo develops a new type of therapy for several disturbed individuals at a mental institution. His method of treatment, with no violence or punishment, is met with a great deal of resistance from the head nurse, Lucretia Terry who feels that the only effective ways of dealing with patients are force and punishment. Even though MacLeod is shot down by many of the hospital staff, his methods show promise on some of the frenzied patients in the institution.
