Storyline : Is it possible to explore the mind of one's target and gain access to vital information, while the target remains oblivious to the whole process? Inception, a 2010 Christopher Nolan sci-fi flick, explores this very subject. DiCaprio portrays Dom Cobb, a spy and a thief who specializes in secretly extracting critical information from the minds of his targets while they are asleep and dreaming. Cobb is wanted for murder and his personal life is in shambles. He struggles with the memories of his dead wife and is unable to visit his children. The story is about Cobb being offered a chance to set things straight in return for accomplishing a task which might be considered next to impossible. The task is called, “Inception”- it involves planting a notion in the subconscious mind of a target. Inception is a must watch for the originality of its plot and some mind- numbing visual effects, for which it also won an Academy Award.
