Storyline : Peacock, a 2010 thriller directed by Michael Lander is about John Skillpa, a reserved bank clerk in a town called Peacock, who prefers to lead an invisible life. John has a secret, which is hidden from the rest of the town, until a rail coach derails and crashes into his backyard. John has multiple personality disorder and his alter-ego is a woman called Emma, who cares for him and does his chores. When the neighbors arrive at the scene to help John, they discover Emma and assume her to be his wife. In order to protect his secret, John must fool the town into believing that he and Emma are indeed married. It becomes extremely difficult for John to guard his secret. Maggie (Page) a struggling mother holds the key to his troubled past kindling the clash between John and his alter-ego. An intriguing story with strong performances by Cillian Murphy and Ellen Page, Peacock is a must watch.
