Prednisolone is prescribed for treating primary adrenal insufficiency or addison’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, and psoriatic arthritis. It is also recommended as an immunosuppressive drug for patients who undergone organ transplants.
