About - A solid calcification formed within prostate gland. Composed of Calcium Carbonate and/or Calcium Phosphate. Usually there are no symptoms.
Diagnosis - These calculi can be well demonstrated by Plain X-ray, CT Scan, Trans rectal Ultrasound or MRI. They may be seen during Trans urethral resection of prostate or during enlargement of prostate gland.
Treatment - Treatment is only through surgical management.
