2 More Imported Yellow Fever Cases: Beijing Municipal Commission of Health
Yellow fever is an acute viral disease transmitted by infected mosquitoes and mostly found in tropical regions of Africa and Central and South America.
The Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning announced two more imported yellow fever cases, days after China's first imported case was confirmed in the capital, the media reported on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

In the new cases, one patient named Yang showed fever symptoms in Angola on March 9, 2016, and flew back to Beijing a week later. He was confirmed to have contracted the virus upon seeking medical advice, the commission said on Saturday, March 19, 2016.

The other patient named Chen developed symptoms on March 11, 2016, in Angola and arrived at the Beijing Capital International Airport on Thursday, March 17, 2016. He was sent to hospital after quarantine officers found his fever symptoms, the Global Times reported.

The two, both aged 44, were vaccinated before they went to Angola. Yang hailed from Fujian province and Chen from Sichuan.
