A current survey states that thirty percent of Brit workers in the UK have admitted to having watched pornography on their computer while at work.

One in three workers in the UK have admitted to having watched pornography on their computer while at work, according to a survey.

According to the survey carried out by email security provider Proofpoint, 33 per cent of the workers admit to viewing inappropriate material at their desk and only 7 per cent said they had been caught in the act.

Nearly 56 per cent of the respondents admitted to having returned to work drunk from a lunchtime pub session, while 59 per cent said that they had a hangover.

Office romance was also alive, with 62 per cent agreed on having a fling with a colleague.

Moreover, 28 pct admitted to falling asleep at their desk.

The study also revealed that 54 per cent of staff admitted to having committed the error of hitting "reply all" on a company-wide email when their response was anything but safe for general consumption.

Furthermore, a quarter said they had accidentally emailed a colleague with saucy comments intended for a lover.

"A real crossover in the digital realm between personal and professional lives means staff are increasingly relaxed in their use of workplace email and internet," the Telegraph quoted David Stanley, Proofpoint's UK managing director as saying.

"Working longer hours and therefore using these technologies more to stay in touch with friends and family can only heighten the risk," he added.
