Breast cancer women will be refunded with £6000 the amount she spent for her treatment using anticancer drug Herceptin.
Jo-Anne Leese of Cheshire will be refunded £6000 the amount of money she spent on the drug Herceptin for her breast cancer treatment. The amount is to be refunded by the Central Cheshire Primary Care Trust from where she took her treatment.
Mrs. Leese got her claims cleared for the drug after the verdict that Herceptin should be provided to patients who wanted Herceptin anti-cancer drug treatment as earlier the NHS provided the Herceptin drug to patients who are positive to Her-2/neu genes.
