7-Year-Old Cancer Survivor Gets a Sweet Surprise From His Favorite Singer, ‘Rachel Platten’

Jeremiah Succar was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in May 2015. Since then the only thing that was going through his mind was the singer Rachael platten’s “Fight Song”.After knowing about his love for the song through social media, the singer recently gave him a surprise by visiting him at the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.

The boy was so excited that he sang the song flawlessly with the singer in his room at the hospital. The duet melted many hearts and his parents joy knew no bounds after seeing their little boy singing with his favorite singer. After finishing, he just asked one question to platten “can i have your autograph? ”

Jerry Succar, his dad, said, "Jeremiah loves 'Fight Song'. He memorized the lyrics after three or four times listening to it. He used to sing it when he got a lot of headaches, but now he sings it in the morning, before bed and during shots he has to get."

"Jeremiah was diagnosed with stage-four atypical rhabdoid teratoid, an aggressive, fast-growing tumor that occurs in the brain and spinal cord and just finished his second round of chemotherapy," said the hospital authorities.
