Thirty children between ages three and 18, who are currently undergoing treatment for different stages of the disease, participated in the workshop.
A workshop was organized by the Delhi Metro museum for children currently undergoing treatment for cancer. As part of the workshop, the children were taken on a Metro ride from the AIIMS station to the Patel Chowk station, and given a guided tour of the Metro Museum. They were shown a presentation on the basic facilities available in the Metro in case of any medical emergency. They also participated in a drawing competition. "Some short films on the basic etiquette of Metro travel were also screened," a Delhi Metro statement said.
