An Enviable Resume of Thirty-three Jobs in 33 Countries
Jan Lachner has an interesting resume and possibly quite an enviable one too. He might just be one of the top contenders for the variety of jobs handled and to think he is just 25 years old.
Lachner is a qualified engineer from Paris. In November 2011, he set out to make his dream of doing 33 jobs in 33 countries come true, so he quit his aeronautical job in Paris and began his journey.

On his website, Euro-Jobs Project, he speaks of his main objective, “The aim of this project is to acquire unique professional experiences by exercising a great variety of jobs.”

He has done an array of jobs like a dance teacher, to a shark tank cleaner and also worked as a baker. One can easily call him a Jack-of-all-trades. He felt the urge to be different and it suddenly dawned upon him how people spend their entire work life employed in the same company and doing the same job.

“By leaving my area of confidence to throw myself into the unknown, I can learn a lot not only about others, but also about myself,” he says on his website, Lachner said.

In the past 18 months, he has worked as a photographer in Iceland, beer brewer in the Czech Republic, a barman in Dublin and an archaeologist in Greece.

That is quite a repertoire of jobs!
