Researchers feel that antidepressant drugs and electroconvulsive therapy offers best treatment method for treating depression
Professor Klaus Ebmeier and colleagues from the University of Edinburgh have reported in the Lancet that the best available treatment for moderate to severe depression is antidepressant and electroconvulsive therapy. // Though there are various reports finding links between use of antidepressant drugs and suicides, the researchers feel that these are studies are not conclusive but still lot of research has to be done regarding the dosage and its adverse conditions.
