The Alberta Cancer Board has indicated that the Klein Government is all set to give the approval to fund the drug, Herceptin, for early stage breast cancer. The spokeswoman of the board, Lee Elliot said, they were awaiting the outcome of the clinical trials in the United Kingdom before advising the $40,000-per-patient drug regime to the entire province.
