An interesting study on the oft debated topic of whether working mothers are better off with regard to health than their unemployed counterparts, has revealed some startling insights.

The research found that working full-time gave women a sense of purpose, control and efficiency which adds to their emotional health. Their expertise at work adds to their self-worth and this can go a long way in boosting emotional health.
Concern exists on the ones who are persistently unemployed. The stress caused by work instability, or holding on to a job or finding another one- the highs and lows contribute to ill health, the insight found.
