Berry and Aubry Become Proud Parents of a Baby Girl

The actress and her model partner Gabriel Aubry expected only a girl and her birth has left them excited. They are in so much revelry that they haven’t decided the name for the girl as yet.

While actress’ rep confirmed the birth, and announced that the Oscar winner was “doing great”, the couple haven’t revealed their bundle of joy’s name as yet reports E!Online.

This is the first baby for both Berry and Aubry.

The couple met in November 2005 during a Versace photo shoot, and went public with their relationship three months later.

Then, in September 2007, Berry confirmed rumours that she would be becoming a first time mother,

The birth confirms Berry’s feelings that her baby would be a girl.

She had previously said that she was sure she was expecting a girl because Stevie Wonder’s ‘Isn't She Lovely’ kept playing on her iPod.

"For some reason that song keeps coming up on my iPod... even though it's on shuffle. We're like, `It's a girl! It's a girl!'" she earlier said.

And though they yet decided the name of the baby, she insists the child will have her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's surname.

She said, "We know the last name will be Aubry."
