The Health and Agriculture ministry of Vietnam has confirmed the spread of bird flu virus to five more Vietnamese provinces.
Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development has announced that five new Vietnamese provinces are infected by bird flu virus, Vietnam is under high threat of pandemic spread of bird flu virus as already more than 21 cities and provinces in Vietnam // are infected with bird flu virus. Though, Vietnamese scientists have revealed that they have decoded the H5N1 bird flu virus genetic code, it could help to understand the mechanism of virus transmission and the probability of bird flu virus mutation can be known. The Hanoi based Institute at Vietnam has developed a trial bird flu vaccine which would be used in poultry to prevent spread of the virus and culling of poultry.
