The doctors educated the family on organ donation, and with the support of ZTCC [Zonal Transplant Coordination Center], the family agreed to donate his organs with all generosity.
His liver and both the kidneys are being transplanted at private hospitals in Mumbai, giving a new lease of life to 3 people.
Dr Narendra D. Trivedi, CEO, Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai, said, “Mahipal Singh continues to be alive in these three individuals, and we sincerely thank the generosity of the family. We also thank the media and ZTCC for their sustained support in educating the public on organ donation.”
