A new range of shoes made of recycled fabric from bus seats is fast becoming popular in Britain.
Britain is known for its never-ending fashion hangover. So what's new? Only the new range of shoes made of recycled fabric from bus seats!
The soles of the eco-friendly footwear are made from 33 per cent bus tyre rubber, and cost 60 pounds per pair."We have used good quality materials which would otherwise have ended up in landfill sites or going to an incinerator," Times Online quoted Robert Taylor, of Transport Recycling in Partnership (TRiP), as saying.
"I think the shoes have a real cultural, nostalgic feel to them," he added.
Each Tube design in the Above and Below London footwear is named after the line that supplied the fabric such as District Line.
