Six in ten people in Britain eat chocolate or crisps every day, despite health experts warning that 60 per cent of men, half of women and 25 per cent of children will be obese by 2050. Britain, now the fat capital of Europe has nearly one in four adults overweight - twice the EU average.
Yet a new study found 64 per cent of Britons admit to eating at least one or two chocolate bars a day and 59 per cent own up to consuming a bag or two of crisps, reports the Daily Express.
The study was run by organic foods company Kallo.
It also found that one tends to eat more if they have meals in front of our computers or TV.
Nearly nine out of 10 of Britons never take a lunch break free of distractions and many eat lunch at their desks.
Kallo Food Academy has now launched a "Mindful Eating" programme, advising Britons to think about what and how they eat.
