A new research has claimed that builders need about 9,500 cups of tea to construct the average three- bedroom house.
According to the research, Britain’s builders go through more than three million cuppas every day, taking an average of four breaks, reports The Sun.In a poll of 100 building firms, three quarters reported taking regular tea breaks make them more productive at work.
For seven out of ten builders, the drink has relaxing and stress-relieving properties, while 80 per cent say it helps them bond with fellow workers.
It was also found that just eight per cent of builders choose coffee over tea.
