 Can Tea Help Prevent Weight Gain?
Tea can help restrict weight gain, says a study conducted at the Kobe University, China. This experiment was conducted on mice. Researchers found that drinking tea regularly prevents type 2 diabetes as tea can restrict the negative health impact of junk food.
Green tea and black tea were found to be equally beneficial in preventing weight gain and belly protuberance due to consumption of fatty foods. Black tea was also found to be beneficial in controlling blood cholesterol level and blood glucose level. Previous studies have showed that tea helps reduce the risk associated with heart diseases, several cancers and Parkinson’s disease.

Further studies and human trials have to be conducted to confirm the findings among humans.
